Banana Chocolate Chip Snack Cake

Step 1: Whisk together the dry ingredients and set aside.

Step 2: Cream the butter and sugar together, then beat in the egg.

Step 3: Add the mashed banana and vanilla and beat to combine.

Step 4: Alternately beat in the dry ingredients and milk until just combined. Be careful not to over mix the batter.

Step 5: Reserve 2 teaspoons of the  mini chocolate chips, then fold the remaining chips into the batter.

Step 6: Spread the batter in a greased 8x8 pan and sprinkle the reserved chocolate chips over the top.

Step 7: Bake for 25-30 minutes at 350-degrees until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool the cake in the pan on a wire rack. Cut and enjoy!
