Granulated sugar

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.

Beat in the eggs until combined,
then mix in the baking powder, salt, and vanilla.

Stir in 1/2 the gluten free flour blend, then stir in the milk.

Stir in the remaining flour.
Be careful not to overmix the batter.

Fold the chocolate chips into the batter. Line a muffin tin with baking cups.
Spray the inside of the cups with nonstick cooking spray.

Transfer the batter to the muffin cups.
Bake at 425 degrees for 7 minutes,
then reduce the oven temperature to finish baking.
