Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

Step 2

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, butter, egg and vanilla until completely combined.

Step 3

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.  Spray a 6-cavity donut pan with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 4

Transfer the batter to the prepared pan.  Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the donuts spring back when touched.

Step 5

Cool the donuts in the pan for 4 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Topping Ingredients

Step 6

In a small bowl, stir together the cinnamon and sugar. Brush the top of each donut with melted butter and dip in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. 

These gluten free cinnamon sugar donuts are best enjoyed the day they're made.  They will last 2-3 days if stored in an airtight container.
