Sauté onion in oil, then add beef, sausage, and garlic and cook until brown. Stir in tomatoes, paste, 1/2 the basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Stir together the Ricotta, Parmesan, and Romano cheeses, remaining basil, salt, pepper, and eggs until completely combined.

In a 6-quart slow cooker, layer the lasagna ingredients in three layers. Top with the remaining meat sauce and sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.
