Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, stir together mashed bananas, sugars, butter, milk, and egg until combined.

Step 3

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.

Step 4

Fold half the chopped nuts into the muffin batter. Be careful not to overmix the batter.

Step 5

Transfer the batter to a lined muffin pan, sprinkle the remaining nuts over the tops of the muffins, and bake for 22-24 minutes.

Step 6

Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to finish cooling.
