Chocolate Banana  Bread

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Step 2

Stir together the mashed bananas, melted butter, & oil until combined. Add the sugar, egg, & vanilla and stir until completely combined.

Step 3

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.

Step 4

Fold in 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips, then transfer the batter to a greased and lined 9x5-inch loaf pan.

Step 5

Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the batter. Bake for 55-65 minutes or until a wooden pick comes out almost clean.

Step 6

Cool the bread in the pan for 15 minutes. Use the parchment paper to lift the bread out of the pan and finish cooling on a wire rack.
