Ingredients for Glaze

Milk

Powdered sugar

Unsalted butter

Almond extract

Strawberries finely diced

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350-degrees F. In a medium bowl, stir together the sugar, milk, oil, egg, and almond extract.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, whisk together the gluten free flour blend, baking powder, and salt.

Step 3

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.

Step 4

Place the strawberries and 2 tablespoons of gluten free flour in a bowl and toss to coat.

Step 5

Using a rubber spatula, gently fold the coated strawberries into the batter.

Step 6: Transfer the batter to a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Step 7: Cool for 10 minutes then remove from the pan to finish cooling.

Step 8: In a small bowl, combine the glaze ingredients and stir until smooth. Spread the glaze over the cooled bread.
